These terms describe the agreement between you and PsychoQuant when you use the assessment, the reports, and the rest of the service. By using the site you accept them. If you don't, don't.
PsychoQuant is operated by Adrian Aspinall, sole trader, based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@psychoquant.com.
PsychoQuant is a recognition-based cognitive assessment instrument. You take a 432-card recognition assessment; we generate a report describing your profile against the framework.
It is for personal insight. It is not a clinical or psychiatric diagnostic tool, and it is not medical advice. If you are seeking a clinical assessment, talk to a qualified clinician. PsychoQuant does not replace professional evaluation and should not be used to make decisions about diagnosis or treatment.
Free reports are generated deterministically from your assessment responses. Paid reports include narrative content generated by an AI system (Anthropic's Claude) using your specific responses as input. The AI system is constrained by a fixed prompt and structured data; it does not invent your data.
Reports represent a structural reading of your responses against the framework. They are not a definitive statement about who you are. You may agree with them, disagree with them, or find them partially useful — all are reasonable outcomes.
You need an account (email + password) to take the assessment and access your reports. You must:
Reports are sold as one-time purchases. There is no subscription, and nothing recurs. Prices are shown at the point of purchase in your detected or chosen currency, and include applicable UK VAT for UK customers.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms when you complete a purchase.
Once a paid report has been generated and delivered to your account, refunds are not normally available — the digital good has been performed and consumed. If something has gone clearly wrong (the report wasn't generated, the framework was misapplied to your responses, or the file was corrupted), email hello@psychoquant.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll resolve it, including a refund where appropriate.
UK consumers have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that are not affected by these terms.
Don't use the service in ways that interfere with anyone else's use of it. Specifically:
The framework, the 432 cards, the findings text for every cell, the report templates, and the assessment instrument as a whole are the intellectual property of Adrian Aspinall. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use your generated reports for your own personal insight. You don't acquire any rights to the underlying framework or content.
Your assessment responses belong to you. You can export, copy, share, or delete them at any time.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law. We don't promise the assessment will produce any particular outcome for you, that it will be available without interruption, or that any specific report will be generated within any specific timeframe.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
You can terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your profile page. We can terminate or suspend an account that violates these terms or that's being used to harm the service or its users.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that can't be resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be communicated to anyone with an active account at least 14 days before they take effect.
